Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

Explore Leh, Ladakh, Sarchu, Jispa, Manali, Dharamshala & Amritsar on this 15-day Himalayan tour with monasteries, culture, nature, and scenic drives.

Day 02: Delhi → Leh (Flight)

Early morning transfer to the airport to board your flight to Leh.
On arrival, check in at the hotel. Lunch will be served.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing and acclimatizing to the high altitude.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Leh – City Exploration

After breakfast, visit Sankar Gompa, known for its peaceful atmosphere.
Continue to the beautiful Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh.
After lunch, explore Leh Palace, inspired by Tibet’s Potala Palace.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Leh – Shey – Thiksey – Hemis – Leh

Full-day monastery tour:

• Shey Palace: Ancient royal residence with a 7.5m copper statue of Buddha.
  
  
• Thiksey Monastery: One of Ladakh’s most impressive gompas, known for murals and temples.
  
  
• Hemis Monastery: The richest and largest monastery in Ladakh, famous for its annual festival.
  
  

Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05: Leh → Alchi (via Likir)

Visit Stok Palace Museum, home to royal artifacts, thangkas, and ancient jewellery.
After lunch, drive to Alchi, stopping at Likir Monastery, known for its giant Buddha statue and stunning views.
Dinner and overnight in Alchi.

Day 06: Alchi → Lamayuru → Alchi

Morning visit to Alchi Monastery, a 1000-year-old cultural gem with intricate wall paintings.
After lunch, travel to Lamayuru Monastery, also called the "Moonland" due to its unique terrain.
Return to Alchi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07: Alchi → Leh

After breakfast, drive back to Leh.
Lunch en route.
In the afternoon, visit the Mahabodhi International Centre, SOS Village, and explore Leh’s local markets.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Leh → Sarchu (253 km / 8 Hours)

Start early for a scenic drive to Sarchu.
Stop for photography at high mountain passes and landscapes.
Lunch will be packed.
Arrive and check into your camp.
Dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 09: Sarchu → Jispa (125 km / 5 Hours)

Drive to Jispa after breakfast.
Lunch on arrival.
Visit the local monastery and Jispa Museum.
Dinner and overnight stay.L

Day 10: Jispa → Manali (141 km / 6 Hours)

After breakfast, drive to the lush valleys of Manali.
Packed lunch en route.
Check in at the hotel on arrival.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Manali → Dharamshala (253 km / 8 Hours)

Drive to Dharamshala after breakfast.
Lunch en route.
Arrive and check in at the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Dharamshala Sightseeing

Visit:

• Tibetan Library – treasure of ancient manuscripts
  
  

Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 13: Dharamshala → Amritsar (199 km / 6 Hours)

Drive to Amritsar in the morning.
Lunch on arrival.
Visit the Wagah Border Ceremony, a patriotic highlight of the trip.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: Amritsar → Delhi (Train)

After breakfast, visit:

Day 15: Delhi Sightseeing & Departure

Explore Old Delhi: Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk.
Lunch included.
Explore New Delhi: Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate & Rajpath.
Return to hotel for dinner and wash/change facility.
Later, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
